Saswata Dutta brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the Software Industry, in which he has served more than 13 years as a Software Process Improvement Consultant. Saswata has over 10 years of experience in Development of Software Systems (involving different life-cycle and development methodologies), and 8 years in Project Management.
Saswatas prolific process consulting experience includes facilitating the CMMI and Software CMM Framework for clients such as Accenture, China; Singapore Technologies, Singapore; Robert Bosch, Malaysia; Canon India, India; Great Eastern Life, Singapore; Custommedia, Malaysia; FSLL, Hong Kong; TSMC, Taiwan; Datamatics Technologies Limited, India etc.
He also teaches courses on CMMI; Software Quality Management, Peer Reviews, Software Project Management, Software Estimation etc for many clients.
Saswata was formerly working with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Defence Research and Development Organization and QAI India Ltd.
Other than the SEI authorized certifications, he is also a member of IEEE for last 16 years, a Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:1994 and 2000, as well as an Internal Assessor for Tata Business Excellence Model (in line with MBNQA).
